Oh wow, what a trip it has been. We have finally made it to Oshkosh after months of preparation. First my husband, Tim, drove a 22' Penske truck towing a car behind it to Ohio. Since we needed to drop many of our items at his parents house to store. Then I drove our two boys by myself to Wisconsin, 1000 miles and 20 hours of drive time. I was prepared with DVD players, an iPad and loads of snacks. We spent a night in a hotel and even used the pool to burn off some energy. It went better than I had expected. We arrived three weeks ago and since then we have been unpacking and filling out lots of paperwork to get new car tags and such.
So far we are loving the North. I know it's easy to say with the highs being in the mid-70s, but really we are enjoying the farmer's markets, cheese curds and root beer floats.
I have begun to advertise with a few online wedding websites and I am looking forward to booking Brides for this Fall and on into 2015. I will keep you guys updated as new clients come along and give you sneak peeks into the work up here.
